The marketing manager is responsible for various aspects of the company marketing and to meet objectives as assigned by the Vice-President of Marketing at ActiveWorx. This person will develop strategies, set timelines, create budgets, and define company marketing objectives. This person will be responsible for executing tactical objectives as required. This role requires strong project management skills for handling multiple projects to support channel partners and the marketing specialist for account management.
Working closing with the VP of Marketing and the sales steam, the Marketing Manager will have an immediate impact on increasing ActiveWorx's profile as a leading financial transaction platform for some of the largest companies in the world. The marketing manager must have a thirst for self-learning and have the ability to adapt knowledge to new ways of making ActiveWorx stand out as a leader in financial transaction automation.
Define and manage lead generation activities, including:
Direct email campaigns
Direct to end customer webinars
Channel partner education and enablement webinars
Manage overall content such as video productions, e-books, and product guides
Manage channel partner communications
Manage marketing database
Manage SEO efforts
Track channel partner leads and marketing activities in IBM sales tracking (SA) software.
Manage conference and trade shows
Manage news releases, media alerts, and other stories related to ActiveWorx sales and marketing efforts
Manage the development of strategic content and editorial calendar
Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications
Directly support the sales staff as required
Coordinate with management and administrate marketing to the plan
Manage projects with freelancers and agency resources
Strategize with management and sales team members on other projects as needed.
Participate in strategic planning, including annual sales and market planning.
Recommend fundamental changes to improve the company's competitive position and profitability
Performs other duties or special projects as assigned

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience.

Business-to-business sales experience
Ability to work on multiple tasks and/or projects
Speak, read, and write fluently in English
Knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce
Experience marketing software to large companies or a related technical field
