Office Manager - Financial Controller

Job Summary
The Controller/Office Manager has responsibility for all accounting and reporting functions as well as support of the company’s executive team.  This position offers an opportunity for the right individual to learn and add value to different areas of the business including sales, marketing, purchasing, accounting, and human resources.  This is a hands-on position that will require experience with accounting, contracts, and financial management.
 
Responsibilities
  • All accounting and financial reporting including month end close, trade vendor relationships, payroll processing, sales tax filings, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, cash management, budget preparation, tax compliance.
  • All Human resource functions including personnel administration, Employee Records, Human Resources, benefit management, employee on-boarding
  • Office management including support of the company executive team, sales and marketing team with office functions as required
  • Facilities management of office location
  • Manage all trade Vendor relationships
  • Purchasing and relationships with distributors
  • Manage company cash flow
  • Coordinate annually with independent Accounting firm for audit reports in a required timely manner for annual meeting.
  • Maintain and manage company policies and procedures for document and process quality


Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Minimum of 5 years Accounting and/or Supervisory Experience.
  • Experience within a professional services and/or technology business.
  • Experience with software as a service accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically MS Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Experience with Quickbooks online and Microsoft SharePoint a plus.
